About Bud

Bud is a painter whose strong command of the human form is at the root of his fine art and illustration work. His keen study of life yields a cleverly abstracted and stylized realism. This has led him to work for companies such as MARVEL Comics, Wizards of the Coast, The US Mint and Scientific American - as well as private commissions for portraiture collected internationally. For more than a decade Bud has been imparting his creative knowledge as a college art instructor, simultaneously exhibiting his fine art and illustration work in solo and group exhibitions in galleries throughout the country.
